TISS will consider National Eligibility Test (NET) score for the admission to Ph.D. programme from 2024-25 batch

As per the decision taken by UGC in its 578th meeting held on 13th March 2024, Tata Institute of Social Sciences will consider National Eligibility Test (NET) score for the admission to Ph.D. programme from 2024-25 batch. Henceforth, TISS won't conduct its own entrance test (RAT) for the Ph.D. admission.
The NET score will have 70% weightage and the Personal Interview will have 30% weightage. The UGC/National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon issue the detailed notification for the NET examination to be conducted in June 2024.
