Overview of the Programme
The MA Degree programme is a two-year, four-semester research and application orientated programme aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The programme involves innovative pedagogy with 5-6 weeks of field based experiential learning in the first year and 6-8 weeks of institutional internship and 12-14 weeks of capstone project to train students on the field-based assessments, policy analysis, intervention design and evaluation in second year. The programme also offers two policy area concentrations- Climate Futures, and Commons Future in the second year for specializations.

This programme helps you understand natural resources in rich and diverse ways. It introduces you to the various issues and problems around natural resource control, use, generation of waste and the different costs involved in these processes. As a result, you develop the nuances of policy and practice – a frame broadly of the management and governance of natural resources.
